Motion induced blindness

BlindnessThis is really cool.

Motion induced blindness

Remember the yellow dots are always there…you just can’t see them.

  1. I think I naturally blink too quickly for that to work right... I'm not seeing it.

  2. This didn't work for me either. I stared for some time, but nothing. I even tried varying my blinks... don't blink at all (eyes burn!) or blink repetively; but I still see the dots. Maybe some people just aren't as photo-optically sensitive as others.

  6. Yeah, totally. Even tried changing the colours and whatnot. Might be the backlight on my laptop or something messing with it. Maybe a better resolution (or something) would help out...

  8. I totally see the illusion. I was just saying 'nuh-thing' meaning the dots disappear. What's even more fun is clicking the speed button several hundred times and watch the grid go 'round.

  10. If you blink too much, try turning up the speed.
