No, those "packs" do not have BASE equipment in them. It is very clear from the pictures that they are only wearing backpacks. If it were base equipment you would be able to see leg straps, as well as a much more robust chest strap (unlike the one seen in the second picture).
do those packs have BASE jumping chutes in them?
