It's a typical trick in advertisement, actually. They make something not quite right about the ad. That way, if you're just flipping through the magazine or whatever, your subconscious notices it, and the ad sticks with you longer.
By the fact that you guys noticed it and are talking about it, it obviously worked.
you can tell that the person to her right was photoshopped out, because if you look at the ocean where a person would be there is parts that are exactly the same another, and they've used the clone tool to erase them, and it's clearly in a catalog for clothing, and not an advertisement.
