Terminology

FirehoseThe following e-mail was just sent to all the firehouses in Prince George's County, MD:

Re: Terminology


It has come to my attention that when a fire hose becomes worn and develops a fuzz on it, some personnel have been referring to this as "nappy-headed hose". This practice will cease immediately.
