What is the explosive device at the bottom for?
That's not an explosive device, that's his man purse.

The cartoonist puts that dynamite and alien in all of his comics. They don't mean anything.
They do have some meaning, but I forgot what it is. Dan Piraro also puts a slice of pie in his comics sometimes. That's a shout out to his wife.
