Old man goes to the doctor....

Oldman drA 97-year-old man goes into his doctor's office and! says, "Doc, I want my sex drive lowered."

"Sir," replied the doctor, "you're 97 don't you think your sex drive is all in your head?"

"You're damned right it is!" replied the old man.  "That's why I want it lowered!"

Windows Live Local Beta

Live local logo
Windows Live Local is pretty cool web based mapping service.  Here is a view of the Statue of Liberty at the New York New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.   “Bird’s Eye” views are only available for some areas, not everywhere.   Pretty cool none the less.

Soaring over America

When it’s cloudy and dark you forget that just above those clouds it’s a bright sunny day.
Soaring Dec 05 (Small) (2)
There was continuous cloud cover all the way from Orlando Florida to St. Louis.  This picture was taken as were were making our descent into the St. Louis area.

From 80 degrees to 4 inches of snow

Downtown2 (Small)

Hurrican treeThe view from Southwest Airlines flight 1134 today as it came in over downtown St. Louis heading for Lambert International Airport.  You can see the Gateway Arch and if you look close you can see the new Busch Stadium under construction just behind it (The half circle).  The last section of old Bush Stadium went down last night.

The temperature was 80 degrees in Fort Myers when we left there this morning.  It was 18 degrees and 4 inches of snow on the ground when we arrived in St. Louis late this afternoon.

It took me longer to get from Lambert Field to my home (40 miles or so) in the snow than it took to get from Fort Myers Florida to St. Louis.

Hurricane Survivor
This is a tree in Port Charlotte Florida that is trying to come back from the stripping it got from hurricane Charley in August of 2004. You can see the new life that is growing from it.   There are many trees like this in the region.

Burglar in tight spot after escape bid fails

From The Smoking Gun…

NOVEMBER 29--We're not sure how Timothy Dufield will get out of this one. The New Hampshire man, 37, was arrested several weeks back for burglarizing a Concord hair salon. When the cops arrived at "The Long and Short of It," Dufield attempted to flee by diving through a closed back window. As you can see from the below evidence photo, he did not succeed. Bleeding and wedged inside the 9-by-15-inch window frame, Dufield was rescued by Concord firefighters and later booked into the local lockup on a felony burglary rap. His case is pending in Concord District Court. In case you're wondering what Dufield looks like with his head up,  click here to see his Concord Police Department mug shot. (2 pages)

If you’re as old as I am, you’ll recognize these faces..at least the ones on the left.  They are television stars of long ago.   The pictures on the right are what they look like now.

Wally

Dennis

Of course you know thewm as Beaver Cleaver’s older brother Wally (Tony Dow) and Dennis the Menace (Jay North).
