If you're looking for a player with a slightly more phallic name, the Cubs had a player from the same era named Peter LaCock. Really. His baseball card from the same year as Pole's reads Pete LaCock to soften the effect, but the signature proudly proclaims Peter LaCock. As an added kicker, his dad was Peter Marshal, the original Hollywood Squares host, who changed his name for obvious reasons. I wish I still had his card.
