hmm, if you're referring to the center ?, look again - it looks like that one is actually staked into the ground just beyond the shadow of the ? on the pole. You can see the stake just poking out of the top and a little bit of grass covering the very bottom of the sign.
I agree, it's an obvious fake. The low one doesn't belong there and doesn't have a shadow. no one is going to stake a sign like that at ground level. The groundskeeper will mow it over rather than trim around that tiny redundant sign.
Real or not, its pretty durn funny! Life is too short to pick everything apart, when you can enjoy it and move on. But I'm glad its real. Thanks for getting that shot, Peter.

You'd think whoever goes through the effort to make fake pictures would make fake shadows for the added objects.

the sign in the middle is coming out of the ground behind the pole. It's not attached to the pole, so it's not going to make a shadow.
Try again.

Hahahaha, I can't believe you guys debating whether this is real!
I took that picture and can tell you it's not a fake. If you want to check, go visit the information centre in La Baie, Quebec and see for yourself :)
Here's more photos from that trip: http://www.travellerspoint.com/photos/gallery/users/Peter/tags/la_baie/

Not real, shadows are at different angles.
