Just my opinion, but I find this pathetic. The lazy chairs can only hasten death. The body needs challenges at all stages of life. Refusing to walk to dinner is tantamount to giving up on everything. Heaven forbid I reach a state like this.

Sorry for the seriousness all, I meant to say that’s one funny pic.

That actually happens. My Grandmother was in a nursing home toward the end of her life, and that's what the freaking place looked like at EVERY meal time.

Funny/Sad.

In response to Anon @ 8:52:

These people are old. They've walked their whole lives. If they want to ride everywhere when they're 90, so be it! I think they just need some flames painted on those things. Vroom.

I agree with Kay- these people should be given a break.

anonymous- remember what you said: "the body needs challenges at all stages of life."

yes, heaven forbid you're bones are brittle, suffer from osteoporosis and an MD advises if you keep walking on you legs, you will risk breaking them again. The list can go on and on with problems we all may possibly come down with....

"People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

I agree though- this is a funny pic :-)

"The body needs challenges at all stages of life" -was spoken by a young healthy person who has as yet no concept of what it will be like to get old.

This just as likely spoken by an old, overweight person that believes age is an excuse for laziness.

Plenty of time to rest and do nothing after you're dead. This pic is disgusting.
