Clearly you're going the wrong direction...

As one who lives in York County (a bit to the west, across the river), I can tell you a better trip through Lancaster County, while a bit round-about, is:

Bird-In-Hand to Virginville through Intercourse into Paradise and (if you stay too long) straight to Blue Ball.
