Vista Conversion update

Just thought I’d let you know that it’s been a rough couple of days… but after several missteps I have loaded Vista on my desktop PC.  So far, so good.

I’m in the process of moving files and folders to the new system, but everything seems to be hunky-dorey (I don’t think I’ve ever typed that phrase before in my entire life until just now).

The previous post (Internet stars) and this one were done on the new OS.   Everything seems to look OK.  I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

I saw the previous post's comments with lots of people trying to make you switch to Mac camp.

I personally don't think Macs are worth their inflated prices. They need to get off their high horses and notice that a nice Vista machine today costs 1/2 of what a Mac does. And you certainly don't get twice the joy from owning a Mac.

I also don't like Steve Jobs telling people what they should like. I mean, look at the IPhone and how Apple is trying to enclose people inside their bubble. It took a tremendous outcry from everyone just for them to finally liberate 3rd party applications that were being built to run on the IPhone.

People in North Korea tell you what you can and cannot do with your stuff... Apple shouldn't be trying to do the same. I think they've become a very evil corporation only caring about $$$ and not giving a hoot about their customers. That will be their demise one day.
