The ultimate funeral…
DEAD in his favorite chair (reclined), remote (in hand)
AND the football game is ON!
Oh yeah, don't miss the new silky pjs, slippers and beer!
And are those a pack of Newports in his ashtray???
Just when you thought you've seen everything .... and yes,
this is a regular commercial funeral home.
Thanks Sandra R

Is this life (or death) imitating art (or My Name is Earl)?
Different culture I guess.
Most Pittsburghers won't be surprised by this.
I Kinda like it. Most people are in a casket, unavailable for you to say goodbye to. At Least this way you see him as relaxing, sorta taking the sting outa death. I hope the family and friends felt better after seeing him this way.
Someone should bring their own remote and secretly start changing channels now and then.
I wonder how they'd keep me propped up in front of a computer for my funeral.
...With Bits & Pieces on the screen of course.
just your average Steelers fan.
good call ellery, I went to a funeral for the kid next door, that I dreaded going too, he was a great kid. they layed him out in a canoe fishing...I was shocked he wasn't in a coffin. it was a lot easier to take, because that kid loved fishing and reminded me of the 100 plus stories he told.
Wow, I never thought about a funeral in anything other than a coffin. How wonderful! What a nice way to pay tribute to your loved ones, and seeing them one last time in the environment that they loved.
Good thing he enjoyed TV that much. Can you imaging how they would have set him up if he frequent GOGO bars in his spare time?
...or "peep" shows (cue in PeeWee Herman laughing).
